Michael Brown was laid to rest Monday in Ferguson, Missouri, and the city appears relatively calm. It is possible, however, that it is a pseudo peace pending the outcome of the grand jury proceedings for Darren Wilson, the police officer who killed the unarmed teen.
The deceased boy’s father asked for peace prior to Brown’s funeral, and his wishes were respected. Subsequently, there have been no reports on protests or justice seekers gathering during the day or assembling at night.
