Mark Mayfield, vice chairman of the Mississippi tea party, was found dead Friday in his Ridgeland home of an apparent self-inflicted wound to the head.

Mayfield, 57, an attorney, was one of four men accused of conspiring to photograph Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) bedridden wife in her nursing home. Conservative blogger Clayton Kelly posted pictures and a video online which were quickly taken down . . .
