The racist rants allegedly made by Los Angeles Clippers basketball team owner, Donald Sterling, have resounded around the globe. At a Malaysian news conference with Prime Minister Najib Razak, President Barack Obama was asked about Sterling’s statements. Obama said the comments were “incredibly offensive, racist comments,” but referenced them in the broader context of America’s sordid legacy of racism and slavery . . .
