Russell Brand says ‘stupid drug laws’ caused Philip Seymour Hoffman’s death

Russell Brand, comedian, actor and recovering drug addict, stated that actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s death was preventable and the result of “stupid drug laws.”

Seymour, 46, an Oscar-winning actor, recently was found alone and dead in his New York apartment bathroom, surrounded by packets of heroin with a needle in his arm. He had struggled with addiction for many years, entered rehab, and again, rode the white horse, which is the suspected cause of his tragic, untimely death . . .
