Chicago celebrity chef Charlie Trotter was found unconscious in his Lincoln Park home Tuesday and pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He was 54. Although an autopsy was performed Thursday, results are inconclusive as toxicology reports are pending, but there were no signs of foul play or trauma.
The Chicago Tribune previously reported that long-time friend Larry Stone said Trotter suffered from a brain aneurysm and had received medical advice that he should not fly at high altitudes which causes pressure on the brain . . .
