“The Butler” is director Lee Daniels‘ film loosely based on the life of African American butler Eugene Allen, who worked in the White House from 1952-1986, serving eight US presidents. Reagan biographers are criticizing the portrayal of the late former President Ronald Reagan, saying it inaccurately depicts him as insensitive toward civil rights’ issues and the then-South African apartheid system . . .
