Easter Sunday 2013 is labor leader and activist Cesar Chavez’s 86th birthday, and Google celebrated with a posted portrait adorning the second “O” in the word “Google” on its home page.

The controversy arises because Google chose to celebrate the life of Chavez instead of Easter. Social media users expressed their opinions on Facebook and Twitter, calling Google’s choice “disrespectful” . . .
